TanElixir’s Melanotan 2 vials arrive as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder, offering the highest stability and potency. Studies show this form remains effective even at temperatures up to 37°C for up to a month. However, to ensure maximum longevity, we recommend refrigerating your vials upon receipt.

Once the vial is reconstituted with antibacterial water (turning it into liquid form), it should be used within 48 hours if stored at room temperature. After 48 hours, potency starts to decrease.

Unopened vials maintain optimal potency for about 10 weeks after reconstitution. To preserve the quality of your Melanotan 2, only reconstitute your vial when you're ready to use it.

Step 1 - Reconstituting the Vials
To prepare your TanElixir Melanotan 2 for use, you’ll need to reconstitute the freeze-dried powder into liquid form using antibacterial injection water.

  • Remove the safety cap to expose the rubber seal.

  • Clean the seal with an alcohol swab and prepare a sterile syringe.

  • Draw the recommended amount of antibacterial water (refer to the dosage guide).

  • Insert the syringe into the rubber seal’s center, aiming for the raised circle. If resistance is encountered, adjust the angle slightly.

  • Gently release the water along the vial's side, avoiding direct contact with the peptide. Roll the vial between your fingers until all powder dissolves. Do not shake the vial, as this can damage the peptide.

Step 2 - Administration (Injecting)
TanElixir Melanotan 2 injections are quick, easy, and mostly painless. For best results, administer just before bed to minimize potential side effects like tiredness and nausea.

Our kits come with 29-gauge insulin syringes, which are smaller and more comfortable than the 27-gauge needles commonly found elsewhere.

  • Open a new syringe and draw up the desired amount (typically 0.1mL). Refer to the dosage guide for more details on the specific amount.

  • Insert the syringe into the rubber seal and gently push the plunger to expel air. Repeat 2–3 times to make the drawing process smoother.

  • Turn the vial upside down and draw the syringe to the desired dose, ensuring the needle tip remains submerged. Flick the syringe to eliminate any air bubbles.

  • Clean the injection site (stomach, thighs, or buttocks) with an alcohol wipe. Pinch the skin between your thumb and index finger (about 2 inches apart). Hold the syringe at a 90-degree angle (or 45 degrees for less fat) and insert the needle swiftly.

  • Inject the solution, then hold the alcohol wipe on the area for about a minute. A mild stinging sensation is common but will subside shortly.

Important Tips:

  • Rotate your injection sites to avoid irritation or scarring. Maintain a 1-inch gap between injection spots.

  • If you feel resistance during the injection, adjust the angle to avoid muscle injection.

Injection Dosage Recommendations
For most users, the typical approach is to reconstitute the vial with 1 mL of water and administer 0.1 mL daily until the desired tan is achieved. Once you reach your ideal shade, a maintenance dose of 0.1 mL (1MCG) weekly is recommended.

For beginners or those sensitive to side effects, it's best to start with a lower dose to allow your body to adjust to the peptide.

Loading Dose (TanElixir Melanotan 2)
Ease into your tanning process with this gradual loading phase, which helps minimize side effects. This method assumes the vial is reconstituted with 2 mL of water.

  • Days 1-3: 0.25 mg per day (fill syringe halfway between bottom and 10 mark).

  • Days 4-6: 0.5 mg per day (draw up to the 10 mark).

  • Day 7 onwards: Maintain daily doses, adjusting based on your weight and desired tan. The dose can be increased up to 1MCG per day if needed.

Nasal Spray Dosage Recommendations
For nasal administration, your kit includes 2 TanElixir Melanotan 2 peptide vials. Reconstitute each with 2 mL of antibacterial water, then transfer the solution into the provided nasal spray bottle.

  • Daily Dose: Administer 2 sprays (1 in each nostril) daily until your desired tan is achieved.

  • Maintenance Dose: After reaching your desired shade, reduce to 2 sprays 3 times per week.

Each spray delivers 0.5 mg of peptide, so 2 sprays provide 1 mg.

Important Note: Nasal administration is about 30-40% less effective than injections, so you may need to use more of the product for noticeable results. Unlike injections, where we recommend a maximum of 1 mg per day, you can safely administer up to 3 mg (6 sprays) per day with nasal spray.
